It sounds like San Luis Obispo went from having a lame excuse for a riot last year to being just lame this year. Students, says the SLO Tribune, served police officers fresh-squeezed lemonade and played rock-paper-scissors with them. In the Mustangs’ defense, though, UCSB had a Carnaval celebration at the UCen that I didn’t even notice was happening while I was there. I guess the party IS over.

Thursday’s forecast: Next year, I’ll see you in New Orleans, where the lemonade is at least spiked, for God’s sake.
