Mother Earth showed her good graces by providing sunny weather for the Earth Day celebration at Anisq’ Oyo’ Park in Isla Vista on Saturday.

The warm weather brought out 600 to 700 locals to the festivities, which lasted from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event, which was organized by UCSB Associated Students Environmental Affairs Board (EAB), included 12 vendor and informational booths, ranging from jewelry merchants to representatives from CalPIRG, in addition to a raffle and several performances throughout the day and into the night.
