With colorful scenery and elaborate decorations, the annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch hosted by the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District is much more than what may appear on the surface: Featuring appearances of live actors scattered around Anisq’Oyo Park, whose stories form a choose-your-own adventure. You may choose to work with Chuck Bunger and his “D.O.P.E” department in search for “inefficiencies” or choose to seek the Oracle’s message, the choice is yours.

Attracting both UC Santa Barbara students and those attending primary education, the Pumpkin Patch also includes a Silent Disco, where people in costumes dance while listening to music through pairs of headphones provided by organizers. With all of this and even more activities, the Patch provides its visitors with a memorable Halloween night.
