The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a bank robbery at 10:11 a.m. Friday morning at the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust on the 5000 block of Hollister Avenue.
Witnesses told deputies the man received an undisclosed amount of money after threatening a teller and demanding cash. The suspect left the bank and walked west on Hollister without harming anyone. Although witnesses saw the suspect enter the Heritage House lobby shortly after, deputies were unable to find him while searching the area.

The suspect was wearing a dark blue suit with a white collared shirt and no tie and a skull cap similar to a yarmulke.
