When I was in Paris last fall, I was shocked by the amount of L-O-V-E I saw. I thought it was just because I wasn’t used to Parisian love, but it seems that sexual promiscuity is on the rise with French women. French femmes now have twice as many partners as they did in the 1970s, and 66 percent of French ladies have had more than one partner. The French female’s sexual behavior is becoming more and more like that of men – a.k.a. the women are turning into hoochie mamas to match the hoochie men.

The new French first lady Carla Bruni is a perfect example of this new French woman. She seduced President Nicolas Sarkozy, who has divorced his now ex-wife and married Bruni in the nine months he has been in office. Bruni finds monogamy “terribly boring” and speaks openly of her past flings-including Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger-and claims she is a “tamer of men.”

These French women know what’s up. It’s not that I’m looking to go out and sex up every boy I see, but I would like to have the option if I wanted. Girls should be able to hit on the boys just as much as the boys hit on the girls and without society’s mean glare. We girls just wanna have fun. Don’t you dare say the French are sluts.
