Florida student Andrew Meyer was tasered Monday night after refusing to give up the mic at a John Kerry speech, which is shocking to me ’cause I had no idea Kerry was still alive. Personally, I’m glad the kid got 50,000 volts. You literally can’t attend a public event these days without some d-bag turning a 20-second question into a long winded whine session. C’mon Meyer, if anyone cared about what you had to say, they would’ve put you on stage instead of Kerry.

On a sad note, after this incident and the library taser arrest at UCLA last year, I’m afraid UCSB is falling dangerously behind in taser-related incidents. This can’t continue – step it up student body.

Thursday’s Forecast: CSO’s: your move.
