The Campus Media lock-in fee is $1.69 per student a quarter, with $0.85 going toward the Daily Nexus and the rest to the La Cumbre yearbook. This is what we call a conflict of interest, so the Nexus will have to abstain on this reaffirmation.

Those of us who commute by automobile to school can attest to the importance of the night and weekend parking permit. UCSB’s Transportation & Parking Services is already facing enough problems staying afloat, so we see no reason to bring them any more obstacles. The $3.33 per student a quarter is wholly worthwhile.
