Editor, Daily Nexus,

To the organizers and advertisers of last Thursday’s strike, please clean up after yourselves. It’s bad enough your march disrespected drivers on the 217 by interfering with their choice to go to class, work or simply to get through, but now you leave our campus littered with trash and graffiti. Plastic bottles with paper bombs still hang from trees and flyers are still plastered all over walls, bathroom stalls and sidewalks nearly a week after the strike. Campus looks almost as bad as it does after an Associated Students election. Also, the numerous spray paint tags that mar receptacle bins and sidewalks are reminiscent of immature street taggers and are disrespectful of university property. Show some pride for your university and some respect for your fellow students: Recycle your flyers and wash off that graffiti.
