The BA/RC office seems like a pretty competent place, except when it comes to money. They tell me I owe the university a few hundred dollars despite the fact that it owes me a few thousand dollars. Whatever math is involved here must be shady, like “imaginary numbers.” In the BA/RC office’s imagination, 300 – 3,000 = 300. The university is wasting its Nobel Prize-winning faculty on issues like the fundamental components of matter when they could be tackling questions that really matter, like whether it’s possible for the BA/RC office to measure both the amount and location of a dollar in my account at the same time.

Thursday’s forecast: Sunny and warm, yet cloudy and cold. Or not.
