I hear the cops in San Luis Obispo were herding people around like cattle this weekend. Guess you can only call a place a “cow-town” for so long before the people internalize it.

It’s funny how SLO and IV are so close, but so different. Up there, they see a few hundred drunks milling the streets and they call it a riot. We see the same thing and call it Thursday.

Monday’s forecast: I see a fat guy in cowboy boots and think, “rancher,” while a SLO person sees the same thing and thinks “police officer.” That, or “nice boots.”
