On Sunday at 7:50 a.m., the Santa Barbara County Fire Dept. responded to a mobile home fire on South Pine Avenue in Goleta.

Fire department spokesman Joe Guzzardi said that when fire engines arrived, the trailer was “fully involved in fire.” Fire fighters were able to control the fire immediately and prevent flames from spreading to adjacent buildings.

There was one male resident present in the mobile home when it caught fire. He escaped uninjured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
