Editor, Daily Nexus,

Last week, I stopped into the new Sushi Teri Japanese restaurant on the corner of Pardall Road and Embarcadero del Mar. With much anticipation, I walked into the new establishment expecting to have a pleasant dining experience. I took a quick peep at the menu and found one of my favorite Japanese combos on the menu: teriyaki chicken, rice, salad and a Diet Coke to go with it. Though I noticed that it was a little overpriced, I reluctantly handed my $8.66 to the woman behind the counter, expecting to devour something real good.

Other than the fact that my bag broke on the way back to my house, the food was also extremely horrible. The chicken tasted like rubber, the salad was nauseating, and overall it wasn’t even close to being worth $8.66. I couldn’t believe that Sushi Teri could be considered the new great restaurant in Isla Vista, as it was the worst food I’ve ever tasted in my life.

I believe that instead of this bad-tasting, overpriced restaurant, an In-N-Out Burger should take the place of Sushi Teri. Not only would it be more profitable, better tasting and cheaper, but it would greatly benefit the I.V. dining scene.

So the next time you think about eating at Sushi Teri, think about that mouth-watering Double-Double you could be eating instead. Not that I have anything against Asian food, but I strongly believe that Sushi Teri is the last restaurant they should have established in I.V.
