The Living Room, located at 430 South Fairview Ave. in Goleta, is facing homelessness at the end of the month due to demolition and is looking to the community for help. As a non-profit venue, it has showcased local bands as well as legendary rockers and it is vital that The Living Room stays afloat. There is a potential moving space available, but it requires a hefty wad of cash – so help Santa Barbara pony it up! Starting at noon this Saturday and running ’til midnight, at least 17 local bands will take the stage. At 7 p.m., there will be a press conference with local officials and KCSB staffers to field questions and spread the word. So, show up and help SAVE THE LIVING ROOM!
