It’s time for “special elections,” although I’m not sure what’s so special about them. The issue, as I understand it, is that A.S. squandered its money on bad investments, resulting in massive debt, and now needs money to bail itself out.

I can sympathize. I need money too. I wasn’t going to bitch about it – but far be it from me not to follow the example of my student government.

So, I’m adding a new measure to the ticket: the Weatherfund. I’m asking each of you to send me $10 per quarter. In turn, I agree to provide you with no visible services and bitch to you on a regular basis about matters in which I have no control.
