That is why road crews keep digging up sections of the street only to inexpertly patch the holes. No real road crew would do such a poor job resurfacing Isla Vista’s primary artery of traffic. The workers are not lazy, witless, break-taking, county road crews, but rabid treasure hunters seeking 17th century Spanish dabloons. Now that I am on to them they have halted their excavations, leaving the drive between I.V. and the 101 more akin to off-roading.
