According to the SBPD, Nicolas Gustavo Romero Vasquez and his girlfriend, Isabel Reynosa, confessed to the crime when detectives interviewed them in Mexico.

High, 56, was found stabbed to death in the thrift shop she operated, Diamonds and Rust Bijoux Etc., at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 13.
