Welcome back to the amazing center of surf, with reports generated every weekend for your surfing convenience. I am looking to get my own jingle for the Surf Report. I just need time, a better voice and a recording studio. Now onto what really matters: THE WAVES.

Friday: 3 to 4 feet, choppy waves and strong 25-30 mph winds in the morning.

Saturday: 6 to 8 feet, new swell, best swell!

Sunday: 4 to 5 feet, bumpy waves with 10-15 mph winds in the afternoon.

So, looks like for Friday the W/WNW swell is peaking. A storm is moving in with some really strong SE winds that really pick up around 10 a.m.

Conditions may be poor due to the wind and some crazy rain touching down early in the morning, before 7 a.m.

Saturday is bringing in a new SW/WSW swell, which means better conditions are possibly on the way! Wow, crazy right?

I know, you probably had to stop reading to just process all that. Also, the waves are gonna be so gnarly so get out there if you can! Unless you don’t know what you are doing, then just stick to body surfing or something. Kidding, just don’t throw a hissy fit if you get knocked around out there.

Sunday is a pretty average day. The rain will be clearing for the best weather of the weekend. A good way to relax after midterms is catching these simple waves.

Remember, the ocean is a mighty temptress so treat her with respect and be careful out there. Also, I recommend checking out the Volcom Pipe Pro 2017 that’s happening right now in Banzai Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii. It’s always good to see some real surfers do their thing. Alright peace y’all!
