The 29th annual Rincon Classic surf competition has been postponed for the second consecutive weekend as weather reports indicate the surf spot’s famous point break will flatline through Sunday.

Contest Director Chris Keet said the Classic is on hold until the first weekend in the next five weeks that a sizable swell consistently molds the long, peeling, right-hand waves that give Rincon its reputation as “Queen of the Coast.” Updates on the contest will be posted at rinconclassic.com by 7 p.m. on Feb. 1.
