Guard Orlando Johnson and forward James Nunnally combined for 43 points in the Gauchos’ 68-54 win against Master’s College at the Thunderdome on Friday night. “It’s not just a two-man game,” Nunnally said. “We try to get everyone involved.” The Gauchos committed 10 turnovers in the first half alone and the Mustangs managed to stay within two points after going six for 13 from the three-point line. Their guard Anthony Cammon hit five threes and finished with 19. Nunnally’s 15 points in the second half propelled the Gauchos to a double-digit lead. The Mustangs’ shooting cooled down in the second half, hitting only three of their 12 three point attempts while struggling to push the ball inside. UCSB plays again at the BTI Invitational against Denver on Nov. 12. It’s first home game is on Nov. 20 against Fresno State.
