The Student Resource Building (SRB) is a magical wonderland filled with dreams and opportunities. We all know about CLAS, EOP and the Disabled Students Program, but did you know about these?

1. Vegan & Vegetarian Only Study Rooms

Don’t you hate it when you’re in the library and are suddenly traumatized by someone across from you eating your best friend in the form of a jerky stick? Well, you won’t have to suffer anymore, as the SRB offers a safe space for you to prepare for class. These rooms even include vending machines that offer a wide variety of fair-trade tofu products.

2. Office of Pizza Funding

Have you ever wondered why every single event at our university offers pizza? A large part of that is due to the convenient location of the Office of Pizza Funding. This center is dedicated to the financial support of America’s favorite party food. You can find funding applications as well as informational packets there.

3. Non-Human and Otherkin Resource Center

UCSB is known for catering to all of its students, no matter what their identities or orientations might be. The Non-Human and Otherkin Resource Center has such amenities as an ectoplasm recharge center for ghost-identifying persyns as well as stables for our horse-kin peers.

4. In Their Shoes Experience Center

In Their Shoes

We all have wondered what it’s like to live in someone else’s shoes at one time or another. This is now possible thanks to UCSB’s In Their Shoes Experience Center where students can try on another person’s footwear. It was designed with the intent to promote the university’s emphasis on tolerance. This resource offers a wide variety of brands ranging from Converse to Wang and provides many sizes. They’re always looking for donations!

5. Non-Student Resource Center

NonStudent

Some people may say that individuals who are unregistered or not paying tuition should not be able to take advantage of what UCSB has to offer. However, our university has bravely chosen to reject this bigotry! The Non-Student Resource Center gives information on where and when all classes take place as well as free forged ID cards so you can enter student-only events.
