The UCSB women’s tennis team had no problem beating UC Davis to open Big West play at home on Friday, but could not achieve the same results in a makeup match against Fresno Pacific on Sunday. UCSB swept all three doubles matches and won four of the six singles matches to beat Davis by a score of 5-2, but the score was flipped on Sunday when UCSB lost to Fresno 2-5.
