Coming into Saturday, the USCB women’s club soccer team had played nine games and had won them all. On Saturday, they traveled to CSU Northridge, hoping to keep their winning streak going through ten games. After 90 minutes of intense soccer, the dust settled and the Gauchos were still unbeaten after demolishing the Matadors 9-0.
Lois Capps has long been a friendly face to Gauchos. She has been a consistently strong presence on campus, always willing to speak in Storke Plaza and attend events in Anisq’ Oyo’ Park. She also regularly writes columns for the Nexus in her never-ending attempt to keep the students informed and up-to-date on current local, state and national issues. Her ties to the students are clearly strong and unbreakable.
