After an in-conference shellacking of UC Riverside, UCSB seniors Marta Simic, Charlotte Scatliffe, Brittany Kausen and Juliette Mutzke will take the home court one last time this afternoon when the Gauchos (8-12 overall, 3-3 Big West) take on Davis and Cal Poly.

Rainbow Alliance parliamentarian – no idea what this means – Paola Balducci took serious offense, although I’ve got to think that any woman in the Rainbow Alliance knows a thing or two about taste in women, or tasting women for that matter. Just a hunch. Why aren’t Obama and Clinton dropping bombs like this? American politics could use a serious sex factor upgrade.

Santa Barbara is Worth Saving

As I jogged to Campus Point last Sunday afternoon, I couldn’t help but be taken aback by the sheer physical beauty the scene presented me. The palm trees outlining Goleta Beach, the light glistening off the ocean and the backdrop of the majestic Santa Ynez Mountains; the place we live in is so beautiful and so easy to take for granted. If we don’t take care of this uniquely breathtaking place, soon we’ll see an eroded Goleta Beach and a polluted ocean.
