Thousands of students and locals in board shorts and bikinis poured onto East Beach Saturday to witness the 5th annual All-Sorority Volleyball Tournament.
It was the weekend of long goodbyes, as the #14 UCSB men’s volleyball team split their weekend games with Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foes Long Beach State and UC San Diego (10-19 overall, 6-16 MPSF) while saying goodbye to four seniors and its head coach.

The best season of the year is in full bloom, complete with 80-degree weather at 9 a.m., allergies and runny noses, lots of drunkenly steered floaties in the ocean and shorts cut so short the inside of the pockets cover more than those butt-exposing hem lengths.
