The Rec Cen got a little less bubbly last Friday when its outdoor hot tub was shut down due to corroded materials and rainy weather.

SB Begins Season With Pair of Wins

With National Championship aspirations in the back of their minds, the UCSB men’s lacrosse team got its season off to a great start over the weekend with back-to-back wins over Northern California foes Cal and Stanford. The #3 Gauchos (2-0) defeated the Bears (1-1) 9-7 on Friday night on the strength of five second- quarter goals. The next day, UCSB continued its winning ways with an 8-3 victory over the Cardinal (1-1).
