The UCSB women’s basketball team continued its domination of the rest of the Big West this weekend with a 77-69 road victory over UC Irvine (6-18 overall, 2-6 in the Big West). The Gauchos (15-6 overall, 7-0 Big West) won their 11th-consecutive game, the program’s longest win streak since the 2001-02 season.

The UCSB women’s water polo team took fourth place in this weekend’s UC San Diego Triton Invitational by sweeping Hartwick and UC Davis in Saturday’s group competition before falling to San Diego State and UC Irvine on Sunday.
Under sunny skies, UCSB Chabad hosted the 5th Annual West Coast Shabbaton this past weekend, attracting over 500 Jewish students for beach barbeques, sailing trips and prayer services.
