In the Arbor on Wednesday and Thursday, there were two large displays with pictures of aborted fetuses upon them. I want to preface this by saying that I am not arguing for or against abortion, and I’m not even entirely clear what the Arbor group’s agenda was. I do, however, think that the display produced the positive effect of creating a more informed population by facilitating dialogue about abortion.

Three tenants have evacuated their apartment on Del Playa Drive and filed a complaint with their property manager at SFM Vista Del Mar because of concerns over the presence of asbestos. Logan Green, one of the residents who recently moved out of 6761 Del Playa Dr., said he sent samples of his unit’s ceiling to the Western Analytical Laboratory on May 5. Green, a senior business economics major, said the lab results confirmed that the house was filled with asbestos, a fibrous mineral that can cause cancer if inhaled over extended periods of time.
So it’s come to this. You’re going to fail a class. Taking a fail is like taking a hypodermic needle shot. Once the initial shock wears off, you realize it isn’t as painful as you thought it would be, not to mention that all the cool kids are doing it.
