The UCSB men’s basketball team found out last night that nothing lasts forever, when its five-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Cal State Fullerton. The Titans (13-11 overall, 5-8 in the Big West) outscored Santa Barbara by 12 points in the second half en route to an 80-76 victory, their fifth straight over UCSB.
It was near the bridge when the cold started to kick in. “Dude, Dozier, I can’t feel my face,” I yelled to my esteemed boss. “Yeah, for sure,” he haphazardly yelped back. “I think I’m at the point of not caring anymore, I lost my sense of touch when we were going down the hill, I’m used to that whole, you know, numbing feeling.”
