Noted Author, Activist To Give History a Voice
You won’t be just another face in the crowd at Campbell Hall tonight — not if Howard Zinn has anything to say about it. Zinn, 83, is a professor, historian and social activist who has made a career out of telling the untold story – turning faces in the crowd into voices of history.

Group Presents Sustainability Plan
UCSB will take the first step toward sustainability today, with the help of an outside firm hired to whip the campus into environmental shape. Students, faculty and staff can hear a presentation from Brightworks Northwest – a Portland-based environmental consultant company — about methods by which the university could make campus more environmentally sustainable at 8:30 p.m. in Buchanan Hall, room 1910.

UCSB Looks to Test Titans on the Road
The #14 nationally ranked UCSB men’s soccer team takes its undefeated Big West record on the road this afternoon to face Fullerton. The Gauchos (5-2-1 overall, 2-0 in the Big West) had trouble against the Titans last year, winning 1-0 on the road on a penalty kick and escaping with a 4-3 double-overtime victory at home.
