Women’s Cross Country: Incomplete Team Earns UCSB a Top Five Finish at Stanford

Even without their top runners, the UCSB women’s cross country team apparently has what it takes to rule the Big West. The team finished fifth out of 33 teams at the Stanford Invitational Saturday, ahead of Big West rivals Irvine and Long Beach State. Senior Seanna Martin paced the Gauchos, finishing 20th in the 6,000-meter race with a time of 22:24.
