Last Friday, the question of whether on-campus military recruiters should stay or go unfortunately became a question of how many UCSB faculty legislators would show up to vote.
The answer to the first question has now been postponed until fall of next year because the answer to the second question was a resounding “not enough.”
The UCSB Faculty Legislature failed to meet its minimum attendance requirement and did not vote on a proposal to ban military recruiters from campus at its special meeting Friday afternoon.
The members of the UCSB women’s track and field team are pioneers in their sport: They are the first UCSB track and field team to ever take the Big West Conference Championship title home to Santa Barbara.
