Armed with a carefully selected staff and an intimate knowledge of local politics, 3rd District Supervisor Brooks Firestone says he is ready to deliver on the promises he made to voters during his campaign last March.

Having assumed his position Jan. 4, Firestone said he is ready to start making the small but significant changes necessary to improve the condition of the 3rd District, which extends from the Santa Ynez Valley to Isla Vista and UCSB. Firestone said a balanced county budget is on the way
