Ranch House Blaze Ignites Rooftop

No injuries were reported in a residential fire that was extinguished Wednesday afternoon north of Los Alamos. The fire occurred in a 2,500-square foot ranch house on the 3000 block of Highway 135 at approximately 2:45 p.m. The Santa Barbara County Fire Dept. responded with four engines, a water tender and a battalion chief.
