Aha, so the good citizens of I.V. have parried the Foot Patrol’s “fall offensive” with a clever foil, the “fall defensive.” I.V. is probably one of the few communities where, if you walk down the street drunk, the police are more concerned about it than your neighbors are. I’ve never personally had any problems with the IVFP – except for all of those refusals to provide identification – but I have to admit they were asking for it when they decided to describe their recent activities using the word “offensive.”

Wednesday’s forecast: The IVFP’s proposed “Winter War on Winos” gets a chilly reception.
