What the hell is wrong with Chris Calzetta. Is he really as much of an asshole as he makes himself out to be in his illustrations? In the last week or so, there have been two opinion articles about rape, both pleading to start believing survivors of sexual assault instead of pinning them down as drunk whores. To accurately depict the sentiment of these articles, twice Calzetta decided to draw pictures of big breasted, barely clad women guzzling down the booze.

Wednesday’s picture has the added insult of calling the rape survivor “witless.” I suppose if the articles had been about how great rape was, Calzetta’s pictures would have been fitting. However, since the articles are trying to eliminate rape culture stereotypes rather than proliferate them, Calzetta probably didn’t even think to read them. Please don’t let him draw for any more opinion articles concerning rape.
