No, I didn’t go home this weekend. Instead, I reveled in my boredom and watched an unfortunate amount of television with my housemates.

And nothing says boredom like late-night on the Discovery Channel.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, I highly recommend a midnight viewing of “What Killed the Megabeasts?” preferably accompanied by alcohol or mild hallucinogens.

The Moa undoubtedly steals the show. It’s an enormous bird with a really long neck and a baseball-shaped head. Picture it surrounded by angry natives with bats.
