The Campus Elections Commission announced the official election numbers for the 2002 initiatives Monday.

The $1.75 Women’s Center Support Fee passed with 76.18 percent of the vote, the $1.75 MultiCultural Center Support Fee passed with 75.12 percent of the vote and the $33.83 Sports and Activity Facility Fee failed with 48.23 percent of the vote.

All three reaffirmations passed and will be up for re-approval again in 2006. The $9 Athletic Scholarships Fee, which funds athletic scholarships for UCSB students, passed with 59.55 percent of the vote. The $9 University Center Support Fee passed with 80.73 percent of the vote and the $7 Recreational Sports Fee passed with 66.03 percent of the vote.

Chancellor Yang and the UC Regents must approve the results to make them official.
