Spa Night

Are you tired of your parents saying you look tired when you go home for the holidays? Have no fear;
Santa Barbara Hillel is here to help. Stop by their spa night this Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. for a night of
health and wellness! They will have face masks, body scrubs, manicures, pedicures and stress balls —
everything you need for a relaxing evening. Hillel is located at 781 Embarcadero Del Mar.

Berry Good

The IV Food Co-Op makes it their mission to carry a wide variety of organic, unsprayed produce. This
Thursday, they will be hosting a berry tasting with an emphasis on local varieties. Get your daily serving
of fruit, and you might even try something you’ve never had before!

Open Mic

Whether you have a hidden talent or you just want to take in some art, head over to the IV Food Co-Op
this Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. for a KCSB Open Mic Night. Any type of performance is welcome, including
music and stand up. Organizers say that it gets weird, and snacks will be provided.

Bark, Bark, Bark

The Isla Vista Recreation and Parks District is offering free dog training in I.V. every Sunday at 11 a.m.
Drop by with your little fluffy pal to teach them a few tricks. The newly-opened dog park is located on
6650 Sueno Rd. The trainer, Jill Atamian Hall, is an experienced dog trainer from Santa Barbara. Dogs
will learn commands including sit, stay, come and place. Harnesses and four-to-six-foot leashes are
required equipment for the class. Flexi leashes, prong collars and e-collars are not allowed. The class is
first come first serve, so show up early and come prepared!

Football Sundays

Whether you love football or just want to take advantage of all-you-can-eat pizza, Woodstocks’ Football
Sundays are the place for you! The beloved pizza joint will be opening early at 10 a.m. on all football
Sundays to ensure you don’t miss a second of the game. They will also be serving unlimited slices of
cheese and pepperoni pizza for only $8.95 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For those over 21, they will also be
serving half-price pitchers. There is also a chance of receiving free gear, so dig out your favorite jersey
and head over to Woodstock’s this weekend! This event will take place every Sunday throughout football
season.

Self Defense

The A.S. Commission on Student Well-Being will be hosting free Krav Maga in Pardall Center every
Tuesday at 5 p.m. Pedro Sanchez will be teaching, and free Blenders will be provided to participants, so
get ready to get a killer workout and learn some nifty moves.
