In following with true Halloween spirit, Associated Students (A.S.) Program Board is playing “The First Purge” at Isla Vista Theater this Tuesday. The show times are at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and admission is free for students with presentation of an access card. This movie is guaranteed to bring both fright and fun to this Halloween season, so grab your friends and spend a spooky evening with fellow students.

~Delirium~

It’s that time of year again Gauchos! A.S. Program Board’s Delirium is back, and Young Thug is the headliner for this SOLD OUT show. The performance is at the Thunderdome, and doors open at 8:30 p.m. Social House will kick off the night at 9 p.m, so be sure to get there early to get a good spot. The show is for UCSB students only, so bring your access card with you for entrance. Come ready for a night full of great music and good vibes.

Come Shop Pop-Up!

Have you ever looked in your closet and felt as though you needed new clothes? Or, better yet, new-to-you clothes? If so, you’re in luck! Lazy Eye Pop-Up Shop is coming to I.V. on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Isla Vista Food Co-Op. Andi Modugno, a Santa-Barbara-based clothing collector is bringing her assortment of clothes, shoes and accessories. Modugno attempts to reduce people’s ecological footprints by promoting the sale of upcycled articles. Come show your support for the environment and local businesses by stopping by the Co-Op to check out some unique and eclectic pieces of clothing!

Fair Trade Chocolate Tasting

The I.V. Co-Op will be promoting fair trade, ethically traded and directly traded chocolate by giving out free samples of Theo Chocolate, Alter Eco and Equal Exchange products. This tasty fest is happening this Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 6575 Seville Rd. You will not want to miss this sweet event!

Bark, Bark, Bark

The Isla Vista Recreation and Parks District is offering free dog training in I.V. every Sunday at 11 a.m. Drop by with your little fluffy pal to teach them a few tricks. The newly-opened dog park is located on 6650 Sueno Rd. The trainer, Jill Atamian Hall, is an experienced dog trainer from Santa Barbara. Dogs will learn commands including sit, stay, come and place. Harnesses and four- to six-foot leashes are required equipment for the class. Flexi-leashes, prong collars and e-collars are not allowed. The class is first come first serve, so show up early and come prepared!
