Today is the last day to register to vote in this year’s general election. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t really want to vote for any of the presidential candidates, either. Aside from Trump’s terrible haircut and Hil’s awful pantsuits, I can’t really agree with their political stances. But I will say, low kitten heels have a definite advantage over a really bad orange spray tan.

However, if you’re reading this and you haven’t even registered to vote yet let alone looked at anything to vote on other than the president, you are WAY behind. People went around to the sorority houses weeks ago to ensure that we were all registered to vote and had a basic understanding of the measures that will directly affect us.

If you’re a local unregistered GDI who wants to go around bashing sorority girls for all their sorority shirts, laptop stickers, Starbucks drinks, Alex and Ani bracelets (one is cute, four is cuter) and Instagram bios, then THINK AGAIN. Because we’re registered, informed and know where to go and vote.

And better yet, not only do we get to have a say in who’s running our county, but we also get to flood your Snapchats with selfies of our “I Voted” stickers.

Sorority Sally is a communication major at UCSB, proud owner of six Alex and Ani bracelets and will be voting on Nov. 8.
