Last week (Nov. 2-9) law enforcement units in Isla Vista encountered three robberies and a suspect that appeared to be under the influence of illegal substances.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, officers responded to a report of a residential burglary on the 6600 block of Trigo Road. The victims reported they had their Apple laptops stolen on Halloween by an unknown suspect.

On Wednesday, Nov. 4, officers responded to a report of a residential burglary on the 6600 block of Abrego Road. The victim reported her Apple laptop and backpack were stolen from her residence by an unknown suspect.

On Thursday, Nov. 5, officers received another report of stolen property on the 6500 block of Del Playa Drive. The victims reported they had property stolen from their residence by an unknown suspect two days prior.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, officers responded to reports of a possible overdose on the 6600 block of Pasado Road. Upon arrival, units met with a male subject who appeared to be under the influence. Medical units arrived shortly after, but the subject refused to go to the hospital for evaluation. The subject was exhibiting erratic behavior and admitted to being under the influence of several “drugs.” He was arrested and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail without incident.
