It goes without saying that I’m devastated by the murders in Isla Vista. I’ve not been able to focus on anything else on this very sad weekend. I’m moved by the condolences being sent from around the world and am particularly moved to see how quickly and instinctually the nine University of California campuses came together to support the students of UCSB and residents of I.V. I think about my time in Santa Barbara, working on a graduate degree, every day of my life. Nothing makes me prouder than to be a Gaucho alumna, and as anyone can tell you, it’s what makes me me. I am brokenhearted and send my deepest love. #GauchoStrong
