A burglary occurred on campus at Cheadle Hall yesterday morning before 11 a.m., when a suspect entered through a window and stole a number of items from multiple campus offices. The University of California Police Department described the suspect as a white male in his mid-20s, about 5’10” and 155 pounds, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and beanie. Some, but not all of the stolen items have been recovered, and detectives are actively working to identify the suspect or responsible party, performing a follow-up on all leads. UCPD encourages all students, faculty and employees to lock all doors and windows before leaving any building. If you have any information regarding this incident, UCPD encourages anyone to call (805) 893-3446.
