Over the weekend, Isla Vista Foot Patrol responded to several alcohol-related cases, with no major cases being reported.

According to Lt. Ray Vuillemainroy, the weekend was fairly incident-free besides a few alcohol-based crimes.

“Nine people were cited for minor in possession of alcohol. Six people were cited for having an open container. Three people were cited for excessive noise violations. Five people were arrested for drunk in public,” Vuillemainroy said. “It was a fairly quiet weekend and no major cases to report on.”
