If you’ve ever been to a baseball game at Caesar Uyesaka, you know the sound effects they use whenever someone hits a foul ball, the most common being shattering glass. During last Sunday’s game against Cal Poly, the sound effects got a little too real for this woman. I went out to my car to get another camera battery when I saw her car in the spot adjacent to mine, its windshield bashed by a rogue foul ball. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity for a picture. Being a photojournalist, the sad truth is that sometimes other people’s misfortune is your moment of glory. Next time, I think I’ll skate to the diamond.
