Two members of the Akron men’s soccer team reflect on their championship season on Meredith Field at UCSB’s Harder Stadium on Dec. 12 after beating Louisville 1-0. The problem with sports photography is that, very often, other people have the same idea that you do. This is an example of a time where the other guys got there before I did. Luckily though, this image still captures the raw emotion that prompted me to snap a few frames. The offending photographer’s head simply forms a border, focusing attention on the two players. The players are caught in their own world, victorious after a long campaign.
